terminally ambivalent over you  
So I told myself at the beginning of watching Psych that I wasn’t going to put on my slash goggles and start shipping gay lovin’ and I lasted for a whole year before I cracked like an egg thrown from a ten story building.

I have no idea what triggered it, but I think good fanfiction has something to do with it. Nothing kills a pairing like a lack of quality stories but I managed to be lucky and found some Shawn/Lassiter that blew my mind because of how in-character it was and now I am officially on the Shassie boat. It’s really unfortunate, because for a good while I was okay with Shawn/Juliet and I thought it was adorable and now I’ve gotten all protective of Shawn and have gone hardcore slash shipper on this show. I would ask myself WHYYYY because shipping canon ships would have been so much easier, but then again, this way is so much more fun.

I really want to make a Shawn/Lassiter manifesto of my own alongside some fanfiction based on a) constant need for touchiness and manhandling b) general boy-girl-elementary-school-crush behavior c) Lassiter’s following through on all of Shawn’s hunches even if he doesn’t believe he’s a psychic d) the scene where he rescues his motorcycle for the impound and e) pretty much the entire episode Shawn Takes a Shot in the Dark.

Shassie minions, I am one of you now.

feeling the moment slip away

Summary: Jensen Ackles hates amusement parks, until Jensen and Misha go to one in the summertime and meet clumsy roller coaster attendant Jared.

Notes: This was spawned by my rabid love of amusement parks. I spent a good portion of my life deathly afraid of roller coasters and screamed the ears off of my fellow passengers until I channeled my inner fearless roller coaster enthusiast and turned into a major adrenaline junkie. My mom and I went to Orlando three times in the past year just to feel the thrill of the Hulk and the wonderful atmosphere that goes with shrieking your lungs out while sliding down Splash Mountain. This story is ultimately for my town's very own amusement park, Worlds of Fun, which is admittedly pretty awesome. I'm going again on the annual company picnic my mother gets tickets for in a few months with a handful of my friends and I am thrilled for the day I get to spend 12+ hours running through a park smelling cotton candy and adrenaline. So in lieu of endless theme park stories, I'm sharing some of my priceless pictures mid-roller coaster, post-water ride, amid the crowds, and some good ol' amusement park schmoop from my sister.
